How far to the nearest swimming beach?

The nearest swimming beach is a quick 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive away from the Casitas.

Are there lifeguards at the beach/pool? 

Cerritos Beach has volunteer lifeguards, but it is still highly encouraged to be aware of the strength of the current and daily conditions.

There is no lifeguard on duty at the Casitas de Cerritos pool.

How far is the nearest surf break?

The surf break at Cerritos Beach is a 5 minute drive.

Other surf breaks include San Pedrito Beach in Pescadero (15 minute drive) and La Pastora in Las Tunas (30 minute drive).

Is the pool at Casitas de Cerritos heated?

No

Is Casitas de Cerritos ADA compliant/handicap accessible?

No

Is Casitas de Cerritos a kid-friendly property?

Yes! The property boasts an abundance of space for you and your family members to enjoy outdoor activities and maintain privacy and solitude simultaneously.

Do I need to rent a car for my trip?

It isn't completely necessary to rent a car, but we do recommend it, especially if you are interested in exploring surrounding towns, beaches, and attractions. There is plenty to do within walking distance, but public transportation is limited, and availability/accessibility of ride share apps is not guaranteed.

Does Casitas de Cerritos provide airport transportation?

No

If you’re not renting a car, traveling from SJD International Airport to Casitas de Cerritos will require a few extra steps. We recommend taking a taxi from the airport to a nearby bus station, and booking tickets to transport you to Cerritos.

What are the pet policies at Casitas de Cerritos?

No pets allowed at Casitas de Cerritos.

What are the guest policies?

Guests are welcome to join you at Casitas de Cerritos for an additional fee. For specific inquiries about guests, please email your hosts.

Yes! All water in each Casita goes through a filtration system and is 100% safe for consumption.

Is there housekeeping/laundry onsite?

No.

Will the property managers be onsite/available during our visit?

At this time, the property managers are on-site. This is subject to change without notice.

In the event that property managers are off-site, they will remain within a close distance and be available 24/7.
